Nutritious Plans

All our plans – from weight loss to weight management – utilise our nutritious food-replacement Foodpacks. They’re each full of essential nutrients for good health, including 28 key vitamins and minerals, as well as being high in protein and a good source of fibre, and we’re continually developing them to make sure that with LighterLife you’re getting the best quality food replacements on the market. And did we tell you they taste great, too?

Over 25 years of research have gone into developing our products, creating really effective plans that enable you to achieve your goals while staying well nourished and enjoying what you’re eating, too – which helps keeps you motivated!

TOTAL-REJIGTotal Nutrition

On LighterLife Total, you replace all the food you’d usually eat with four LighterLife Foodpacks a day. Four Foodpacks give you at least 50g protein, at least 50g carbohydrate, around 17g fat and an average of 14g fibre, and 100% of your recommended daily allowance (RDA) for vitamins and minerals.

LITELite Nutrition

On LighterLife Lite, you enjoy three Foodpacks a day plus a small meal from a selection of healthy, everyday foods like chicken, tomatoes and milk – so you don’t have to worry about scouring the supermarkets for exotic ingredients!

Three Foodpacks give you at least 37.5g protein, at least 37.5g carbohydrate, around 13g fat and an average of 10g fibre, plus 75% of the recommended daily allowance (RDA) for vitamins and minerals.

The balance of your nutrition comes from your Lite meal, which includes lean protein, vegetables and salads and low-fat dairy produce like milk and yoghurt,. All these choices are low in available carbohydrate to encourage your body to switch to burning stored fat as its main source of energy.

FASTFast Nutrition

Having four LighterLife Foodpacks on each of your two fasting days means you’re taking in only around 600 kcal but still getting 100% of your RDAs for key vitamins and minerals, as well as plenty of protein and fibre. This nutritionally balanced approach to fasting is virtually impossible to achieve with 600 kcal of conventional food, and it means you can be assured you’re getting all the nutrition you need.

All our Foodpacks are:

  • High in protein for healthy muscles and bones.
  • A source of 28 key vitamins including Calcium, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, potassium, vitamin D & vitamin K – for healthy teeth and strong bones..
  • Chromium – helps keep blood-sugar levels normal.
  • Iron – helps support your immune system and reduce tiredness and fatigue.
  • Potassium – contributes to the maintenance of normal blood pressure.
  • Selenium & iodine – for normal thyroid function.
  • Vitamin A, riboflavin & zinc – all help support healthy vision.
  • Vitamin B6 – helps regulate hormonal activity.
  • Biotin, pantothenic acid, thiamin, niacin & copper – contribute to normal energy-yielding metabolism.
  • Vitamin C – helps to increase iron absorption.

And using one of our delicious and handy Chocolate & Raisin meal-replacement bars in place of one of your daily meals, along with our Foodpacks in Management is a great way to stay committed to our goals.

We’re continuously experimenting with new flavours and improved formulations. An in-house team trained in sensory perception and led by our Head of Nutrition and Research, Dr Kelly Johnston, tests every single new and revised product to ensure they taste great.
